Be Set Apart
photo source: pro.homeadvisor.com To my beloved fellow believer, In this world full of ungodly norms, where “Everybody is doing it, it's normal, that's ok” kind of mindset exist, may we be reminded that we are called to be set apart as it is written in Deuteronomy 14:2 “You have been set apart as holy to the LORD your God, and he has chosen you from all the nations of the earth to be his own special treasure.” It is easier to go with the flow where this world is leading us, but may we find strength in the Lord to actually break the norm and go against the flow. As God told us in Isaiah 55:8-9 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways. As the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts” . I pray that we keep in heart that we who chose to believe in Christ Jesus are set apart and hence we are not living solely for the purpose of the present times but for the eternal life to come.
